Aeria Games[]
Aeria Games was the western publisher of Eden Eternal. Closed beta for the English version began on June 1, 2011, which more than 100,000 players signed up for. Open beta began on June 16, and due to the game's overwhelming popularity, a third server—Garnet—opened on June 17. Separate editions of Eden Eternal in four other languages—French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese—progressively opened throughout 2011 and 2012.
The Spanish and Portuguese servers ended service in January 2015, after about 2½ years of service. The German server closed in July of the same year; unlike the Spanish and Portuguese services, data from the German server was transferred to the English server, allowing players on the German server to retain their progress.
In April 2015, the English and French servers merged. In April 2021, Eden Eternal, along with three other Aeria Games titles, simultaneously ended service.

Revival[]
X-Legend first hinted at a relaunch of Eden Eternal in their December 2022 corporate investor conference. Various rumors swirled, including that it would be a mobile game or that it would be available for the PlayStation. The game officially relaunched on May 4, 2023, with its Steam release delayed due to its promotion of NFTs which violate Steam's platform rules.
The revival includes three languages—English, Chinese, and Japanese—with each language community having its own server.
